May was all about exhibiting at Pulse London. It was great to meet other unique designers who create beautiful British hand made products. Here are my favourites from the show!
Sarah Grove makes lovely porcelain jugs and vases that have the look of upholstered fabric, creating a soft beautiful effect. I love how textiles have been translated into porcelain. The best cosy gifts from Bantam Knits are the hand dyed luxury cashmere snood, scarves and wrist warmers. London based Lil3birdy designs fun illustrative gift cards that have some really cute little characters displayed on them. Hannah Turner designs graphic mugs, bowls and plates that have lovely characters displayed on them. I just love the Peacocks! I love the fantastic colours and shapes designed by Linda Bloomfield's on her hand-thrown porcelain tableware. I really like the use of pattern on the animals on the decorative woodland animal tea towels by Helen Gordon.
This May wasn't just about work though! I went to an absolutely fantastic wedding of two of my lovely friends Gemma and Graham at Preston Court in Kent. It was the perfect wedding and we even got to ride on a vintage Carousel. I was very excited to see their wedding cake that was designed and made by their bridesmaid Frances Quinn, winner of The Great British Bake Off 2013.
