Sleep Tips

Sleep! As important as eating, drinking and breathing.

So many people struggle with having a good nights sleep and many don't realise how it important it is for our health.

I struggled with insomnia a few years ago so completely understand the pain of not being able to sleep.

One thing that has really helped improve my sleep is wearing a sleep mask. And yes of course I made my own large padded sleep mask with a soft lace elasticated strap for extra comfort. Shop sleep Masks.

Here are my top tips to getting a good nights sleep.

  1. Drink a cup of Pukka Night Time tea 30 mins before you go to bed.

  2. Write in a journal. I start by writing down the words floating around my head and then the 5 things I am thinking about most. I choose one of these and write about it for 10 to 20 mins. I then go onto making a list for tomorrow. It is really just a way of downloading your brain onto paper so you can switch off and relax. I love Under Cover UK’s journals.

  3. Invest in a silk pillow case, this creates such a relaxing feeling and is great for your skin. I love The Silk Collection UK’s silk pillow cases.

  4. Spray your pillow case with Neom Organics Perfect Night’s Sleep pillow mist, its absolute bliss!

  5. Pop your Lauraloves Designs Sleep Mask on, to block out the light and keep you asleep for longer.

  6. Listen to Insight Timers Sleep Meditations.

Now to relax and have a great nights sleep zzzz…..
